Direct measurement of ultrafast temporal wavefunctions

چکیده

The large capacity and robustness of information encoding in the temporal mode photons is important quantum processing, which characterizing states with high usability time resolution essential. We propose demonstrate a direct measurement method complex wavefunctions for weak light at single-photon level subpicosecond resolution. Our realized by ultrafast metrology interference between under test self-generated monochromatic reference light; no external or complicated post-processing algorithms are required. Hence, this versatile potentially widely applicable state characterization.
